Focus

The IEEE International Conference on Software Testing Verification and Validation (ICST) is the premier conference in all areas related to software quality. ICST bridges research and practice with tracks for both research and industry papers, plus student papers, fast abstracts on late breaking innovations, and several workshops on specialized topics. Thus, ICST features a combination of industry relevance and high academic standards. ICST is an open, broad venue for publishing results in all aspects of testing, verifying and validating software, including developer testing, model-based testing, empirical studies, quality assurance, embedded and real-time software, web applications, security testing, inspections and metrics.

Software testing, verification and validation has recently become much more crucial to the economic success of all software companies. Thus, ICST provides a forum for research in this exciting, growing, area and explicitly includes all facets of software quality. The ICST charter specifies rules ensuring the transparent, democratic, and open management of the conference. Conference proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer Society.

Special Issue of STVR

Authors of best papers from the conference will be invited to revise and submit extended versions of their papers for publication consideration in a special issue of Software Testing, Verification, and Reliability, a Wiley journal.

Proposals for ICST Conferences

We are committed to planning conference locations at least two years in advance. If you are interested in hosting a conference, please contact any member of the Steering Committee. We would like to begin a discussion as early as possible so that we can include your proposal into our long-term plans and so that future organizers can be included in previous conferences.
